Comments: Happy Christmas to Paul and the gang, and thanks for a great year, especially the two shows here in the Tacoma/Puyallup area and the new CD. I agree with the person below about "Armed Forces Radio", it should be a single, it sounds like a hit to me, maybe you should consider adding it to your set list next year.

Comments: Dear Paul and guys, Wish we (Terry and I) could see you all at Sunland Park in NM. However, we are working,(what a bummer)and we can't get the time off. I thought your concert at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz was great. However, since the Drifters were going to be there you should have done "Under the Boardwalk". That's what Terry and I thought you should have done. We miss you and wish you a very Blessed Christmas, Carl and Omar know what we mean. God bless all of you. You are in our prayers and we hope to see all of you soon. Love always, Lore and Terry (the girls)

Comments: In the mid sixties most groups didn't have a clue as to present themselves.Paul Revere and The Raiders had a hell of a sound, knew how to showcase their talents, had a wild stage presence, and looked like they really had a hell of a good time doing it. Just look at old reruns of hullabaloo t.v. show. The byrds wore coat and tie and look like stiffs while the raiders rocked. The costumes were great and guys really raised a lot of hell on stage for the time. I think Paul Revere and The Raiders were cool in 1965 and still cool in 2001! Raise hell Raiders show these kids who wrote the book on Rock N' Roll.

Comments: Last time I saw you was either the Crazy Horse or the Trocadero in Boise in 1964. Beyond outstanding!! Been watching for a Jackpot show. They say imatation is the finest form of complement, when I played bass for the Mystics in Boise, we did everything we could to sound exactly like the Raiders. You were and still are our Heros. Comments: My wife and I saw you in Topeka. She had tried to see you in KC 33 years ago, but being 14 at that time her parents wouldn't let her go. Her dream has been realized now. I was blown away by the quality of musicianship and entertainment. There were six true artists on stage. I left with great respect for what you're doing for the 'nam vets. We bought "the Wall" cd. It's great. "Armed Forces Radio" should be released for air play. It's monster hit material. Thanks for a great experience.

Comments: I really loved that show in Topeka. It was the best one yet. I've been to 19 shows total and this one by far blew the others outta the water. You are such an awesome band. I'm always so inspired whenever I hear the song "Indian Reservation." It speaks to me.

Comments: Everyone who caught your show in Topeka, KS on November 15th said that it was one of the BEST shows they've seen anywhere at any price!! Your comedy routines, 60's tunes, and choreography were superb as usual, but your "RIDE TO THE WALL" CD for our Vietnam Veterans is something very special indeed!!!! THANK YOU for giving our vets some much-needed recognition!!! Everyone who fought for us in Vietnam, or was connected in other ways to those who did should get one of these CDs!!! I've been a big PR&TR fan all the way back to the early 60's. I believe the first time I saw you was at The Cotillion Ballroom in Wichita. I was hooked for life! In 1965, I founded a band in Eureka, KS named "The Kicks" after your song KICKS. At most dances, we did our last set as a full-on PR&TR review, complete with most of the choreography. Wow, what fun that was!! I've seen dozens of other rock groups on stage over the last four decades, but NOBODY DOES IT BETTER THAN PAUL REVERE AND THE RAIDERS!!!!! GOD BLESS PR&TR, AND GOD BLESS THE USA!! KEEP ON ROCKIN'!!!!!!

Comments: It was great seeing you guys the other night in Topeka! The last time I saw you, Paul, was in Denver in 1968 (?). I hope you'll come back again soon. Any chance of releasing some of the "Where the Action Is" on video? I'm sorry to say that Paul was the only one I recognized. But that's OK. I really had a great time in Topeka. Thanks for visiting us!

Comments: Really enjoyed your show in Topeka last Thursday. What a great concert. I spent many afternoons in the 60's watching "Where The Action Is" recovering from a spinal cord injury. You helped me get through some very trying times. I felt very fortunate in being able to shake your hand when you came into the audience Thursday night. Keep on ROCKIN!

Comments: We just saw your show last night in Mahnomen Minnesota and we were truly blown away! I watched Paul Revere and The Raiders when I was 13 years old on Dick Clark's show "Where The Action Is" Beach Party, American Bandstand. My husband has always liked your music but being the reserved person he is, never gets excited about much. Last night, I saw him with tears in his eyes as you gave your tribute to the Vietnam Vets. He is a Vietnam Vet who never got his reward for serving his country then. He continued his career until 1987 at that time he retired from the Air Force. He told me afterwards that yours was the "best show I have ever seen." To get that response from him is truly a huge compliment and you should take it as such.We are getting old now and still get a twinkle in our eyes when we reminisce with all of the "old music" from our times. Keep up the good work and we will continue to see you every show that we can.Because we live in the "frozen tundra" of Minnesota, we don't see very many artists in the winter time but hopefully you will come back in the Spring to The Shooting Star Casino. KEEP ROCKIN'!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANd thanks for all that you do for the Vets!

Comments: I saw a "GREAT" show in Topeka on November 15, 2001. PR&TRs are still the best band (#1)in the USA. The legend lives on! Long live Paul Revere! The Ride to the Wall is the best. Continue to ride to every city/venue. GOD bless the boys in the band forever. Keep 'em flyin'! Carl's singing is great! Everyone in the band is a major talent. Keep 'em laughing Paul and stay happy & healthy.

Comments: Saw you in Topeka on November, WHAT A GREAT SHOW! And a special THANK YOU for your dedication to the VietNam Vets. Being married to a Viet Nam Vet is an honor for me and your tribute made this show very emotional for me. It is hard to describe the silent hell that many on these men live on a daily basis (mine included). Each day is tough for them. The big hug you gave my husband after the show made him feel great! These men and women need much more of this and what you have started (the CD and tributes) I hope more will follow. It's time we made these men and women start to feel that it was not all in vain. As a matter of fact as we left the show my husband asked me, "want to buy a motorcycle"? (I think he wants to ride with you). Thanks so much for all you are doing, and taking us back to a time in music that is so imortant to us. We hope we have the opportunity to see you again.

Comments: You guys just blow me away!!! Your show in Topeka was wonderful. That auditorium was a neat place to see you...and hear you. The sound was really good. I missed not hearing "Ride To The Wall" from the RTTW CD. Y'all really do this so well. I still think it's great what y'all are doing for the Vets and love to hear their reactions in the audience when you talk about the RTTW project. And "God Bless The USA" was just meant for you guys to do. It's so special to hear y'all perform this. It sort of takes my breath away each time I hear it. I'm okay for a little while...I've had my RaiderFix...and it was such a good one. You guys are just great! Thanks for all the efforts you go through to always put on a fabulous show. :)

Comments: Your show in Topeka last night was AWESOME. We weren't sure after the Buckingham's what to expect. We think you should just ditch those guys and go for it ALL yourselves. The band is fabulous and they are all so talented. I know that it helps that you all have been working together for a long time, but still fabulous musicians. Paul, you cracked me up. So natural. Nothing faked, just you !! We hope you will return to Topeka soon. Thank you for your dedication to vets and country. We all 3 bought a CD and we love them. God Bless you all.

Comments: Paul; I am sure with all your travel and a hectic schedule you may not remember me. I was the one sitting in the front row with my wife and an army retired hat on here in topeka kansas. We really enjoyed your show. I was extremely disappointed with the turn out. We don't get much here in the big city of topeka and when someone like you and your group come to town its a real honor. Although I am not from topeka (savannah georgia) my wife is from hays Kansas. I want you to know that you are doing a wonderful thing for the vets and I know we all appreciate it. I am that my wife and I can go on the cruise but I am not sure at this point. I wish you the best of luck and in my eyes you one of the top 10 of all time.GOD BLESS! MIKE GAINEY MIKEY

Comments: Loved you guys at the Topeka concert last night. Wish I could have gotten off work to attend the "Meet and Greet". Just a bit of trivia from the Traveling Vietnam Wall. When it came through Topeka a few years ago, our local Navy Sea Cadet Unit pulled off a major coup. We were the first organization of youth allowed to work security at the Wall. Our Cadets' previous demonstrations of Honor and Respect earned them the priviledge. My son was too young to serve in that respect, but the younger Cadets worked the parking lot.

When Carl sang "God Bless the USA" I saw the look on your face, Paul, and it brought tears to my eyes. I can see how deeply you feel for our country and also for the vietnam vets. It is so wonderful how you can put on such a funny show and yet get the crowd to remember the important things in life. You have a lot to be proud of. Your band members are truly the best in that they always seem to be having having as much fun as us. Can't wait until the next time!!

I was the very first person to call for tickets because I was bugging the ticket office almost daily when I heard you were going to be performing there. My friend and I had the best seats in the house! Front row for both performances!! We have seen you before and knew what a great show you put on. We KNEW we had to be right up front!! I can't wait until you come back to the area. I will be there!! If anyone out there is wondering if you should spend the money to see the Raiders in person, all I can say is DO IT!! You won't be disappointed!

Comments: I worship these characters!! No other rock group combines great music with a hilarious stage act like these guys. I grew up with their tunes, but never saw them perform live until '91 at the NYS fair in Syracuse, where I bought one of their "Junk Rock" t-shirts. Six or eight years later I saw them once more at a club in Houston while wearing my "Junk Rock" shirt. After the show, at the souvenier table, my shirt caught Paul's attention. He stopped all else and told me wanted to autograph the shirt, which he proceeded to do right across my chest! Then he said "You're a good girl." I never felt more blessed!! There are many great bands and musicians out there, as well as a great many comedy acts, but Paul and his Raiders combine both in a way that is comparable to none.

What memories you guys bring back. I'm more familiar with the original line-up of RAIDERS, but its still nice to see you guys are still around.

Comments: Hi guys! Another Jackpot in the bag. Grace and I want to thank you (I think..!) Paul, for all the on-stage teasing about our Halloween "sister act!" That is one of your strongest gifts - humorous spontaneity - and we love you for it! The shows were great fun as always; the music, rock classic, but very timely; the band, sharp and timeless (you guys keep getting better - how many of us can say that?!) Most of all, we appreciate what genuinely nice, thoughtful folks you all are, giving of your time and energy, connecting and staying in touch with an audience much in need of your uplifting style and warmth. Thanks Paul, Doug, Omar, Ron, Carl and Danny for all you do, again and again. YOU KEEP US YOUNG! See you on the Cruise - Tom and "Sister" Camille

I am a holder of the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Silver Star and I wish that I could give them back just to bring my friends back. We all need the humor in our lives and you have always done a great job of that. Comments: I've been a fan since late 60s...If you ever play Texas...I wanna SEE you play! There is an unOFFICIAL Site I found off Ultimate Band List that attempted to list ALL the bands members but they were admittedly "Behind" a few years. Regretfully I only recall Paul (the GREAT) Mark (The Mighty GOOD) and Fang who had prominent front teeth. A count on one of my four albums said "27 guys have been Raiders" and have gotten married, gone into military, etc..I was pleasantly surprized to see Email addresses for EACH of present members...OTHER BANDS...can EAT THEIR HEARTS OUT>>>RAIDERS RULE!!!!

It was our 3rd time to see your band perform and as usual, it was fantastic. My husband served in the Army in Viet Nam and we are most appreciative of your support of our veterans. We purchased one of your CD's "Ride to the Wall" and he commented after listening to it that it brought back so many memories of his tour in Nam (1966-67). Your rendition of God Bless the USA sung by Carl brought tears to my eyes, especially because of the turmoil our nation is in at the present time with all the terrorism. Keep up the good work and we hope to see you all perform again real soon. God bless you and all your band members and God bless the USA!!!!

You made it very special expecially with your tributes to the victims of the tragedy in NY and WA DC. You helped us to cope. So many fine songs, laughter, and tears but we were all in it together. Hope your are still rocking at 74. It isn't amazing that a band can put on a show that has no fireworks, lewd gestures, etc, and still be very intertaining. Fanstastic job performing Proud to Be An American with little practice. Am enjoying Ride to the Wall CD. Hope to see you again. Linda Boyd

Comments: hey guy's
I just want you guy's to know that i enjoyed the concert at the puyallup fair in WA on sunday the 23 of sept. With all that had happen in the last few day's in the country, your concerts always seem to bring out the best in people. With all that has happened your word and concert made a week from hell just disaper with what happened in NY. and DC. I am a sgt for a small town police dept and I had a susicide call the other day where i thought the man was calmed down and just as I thought he was going to give me his gun he put it under his chin and pulled the trigger using a 44 mag., so to say the worst week ever your concert really picked me up. Of course I had to buy another cd of the wall the one i bought when you were at the tacoma dome is alway's in the other car and i have to fight my son for it so i made it easier i bought my own anyway i just want to say thanks for being there again when i need some good music over the past 30+ yrs

Comments: Paul and the guys: I was so impressed with your show tonight. I have seen you many times over the last ten years, but this show was special. Paul, I could tell you have been very affected by all that has gone on the last couple weeks in our country, and you let us know you cared. You paid respect to all those who lost their lives in the tragedy, and helped all of us feel a little better. There is no better band in the world than the Raiders, year after year you guys give us your best. "Ride to the Wall" was great tonight, it is so exciting to hear you guys doing some new music, and John Fogerty and CCR would be proud of the way you guys do "Fortunate Son" and "Run Through the Jungle", and you guys OWN "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" - tonight was the best I have heard anyone do that song! The Kingsmen were great, too, and it was cool that you invited them out at the end to sing "Louie Louie" with you. Carl, Doug, Ron, Omar, Danny and Paul, you're the best! God bless you all!

Thank you again for your fantastic concert at Portland, Oregon's KISN the Summer Goodbye. This was the first time I have been able to see you in person. It was memorable for me. All of you stayed to sigh whatever was handed to you. I waited for 40 minutes and you continued beyond my t-shirt. And you all signed it! Please, come back next year, all of you! ~~Pam Johnson

Comments: Saw you last night at KISN the Summer Goodbye show in Portland OR. WOW! You guys are great. Had a super time dancing, singing, and reminiscing about running home from school to see "Where the Action Is." So much better for kids than some of the stuff MTV puts on. I like being able to show my 11-year old son that music can be great without being violent or overtly sexual or profane. Keep on Rockin' guys!!!

I was in the first grade when I went to my first concert, a Paul Revere & the Raiders Concert at the Oregon Sate Fair. Love all you guys and miss the ones that have passed. Take care guys and I am so looking forward to meeting you again!!! Sincerely, Sara Marvin, Age 21

My wife and I really enjoyed both sets. I was able to thank Paul and Omar after you signed autographs. I had on me Vietnam Veteran hat on. Once again thank you for what you are doing and the great show you preformed. I hope Paul you bring your Raiders back again. Next time I'll bring my two sons and their families. See you soon I hope. Comments: Outstanding, We heard you at the MD Sate Fair, we were in the front row, my wife, 12 yr. old son and myself and enjoyed the whole thing. My son laughted so hard at the Capt. Crunch and the hair remarks, that's all he talked about all the way home. Thank you for a great evening of music and making us all laugh. Just to let you know I am a 24 yr. Vet of the Air Force, and drive a 40 Chevy Street Rod. So you were right on target with so many of your comments. Thank you for carrying our Vietnam Banner. P.S. You really made my son's night when you finished with "Born to be Wild", that is his favored song.Once again, please tell everyone that we had a
GREAT TIME. Doug

Comments: I saw you guys at the Maryland State Fair only because you guys were the opening band for Blood, Sweat, & Tears, but you blew me away. Blood, Sweat, & Tears should have been opening for you. It was an amazing show and the second best concert I've been to. Paul you're a great showman with a superb band. Plus your dedication to, and support of the Vietnam Veterans is wonderful. In this day and age you rarely see a band with a social conscience, and to find one that cares as much as you do is unherd of. Keep up the great concerts, and thanks for a wonderful show.

Comments: We saw you at the Maryland State Fair on Sunday evening and were thoroughly pleased with the performance. In fact, my husband, Mike, wished you would have come back on for a second set after the break instead of Blood, Sweat and Tears. We saw you two years ago during the 4th of July weekend at the Dundalk Heritage Festival. Be assured, that any time Paul Revere & the Raiders are in town, we will be there. Thanks for putting on such entertaining shows. I still can't go into a grocery store without smiling when I see a Captain Crunch cereal box! I played your CD - Ride to the Wall on my way to work this morning. It really brings back the memories for me and my husband, a Vietnam war vet. Wishing you continued success in all your endeavors or as Mr. Spock would say, "Live long and prosper!"

Comments: I was at the show at the MD State Fair and it was awesome. Paul should consider stand-up as a second career. The guitarists are outstanding. They hit every note and played a nice smooth groove. I spoke with my friend Betsy about the drummer and she was so jealous I got to see you play; she's a drummer and thinks you're the coolest. The singing talent was off the hook. I have been singing since I was little (not very well though) and he amazed me. I was awestruck by the sheer range he has. Wow!!! Paul thank you for letting me wear your hat it was a great honor and very cool. I salute all of you for you "Ride to the Wall" CD; I know a few vets. and one who died just recnetly Don Davies was a nut about his Harley and I can remember him taking me on rides when I was just a tiny kid. Way to do him justice. Thanks again, Jess

You and your band not only are wonderful musicians, you all have the stage prescence to go with it!! We also saw you a few years ago at Hershey Park in PA and you were wonderful then as well. You even left a lasting impression on my daughter who was only in grade school at the time but knew exactly who you were this summer at the state fair!! We also enjoyed the comedy part of your act as well. Thanks! Jane

Comments: Attended your concert on Sunday, September 2, 2001 at the Maryland State fair in Timonium, Maryland. I had my 10 1/2 year old daughter with me as well as my significant other, Jim (he is an avid JAZZ fan). Well, needless to say, you guys put on a fabulous show, had me dancing all over the place (not bad for a blonde, 5'0", and 105 lbs. @ age 49, mind you!!) and my daughter saying, "she's not my mother!!" "I don't know her!" Jim sat very comfortably in the lounge chair and ate and ate. I just could not stop dancing the OLD steps, just like one would see on American Bandstand or Where the Action Is or HullaBaloo. Fortunately for me, I've been able to maintin my body, my mind and my sanity in spite of growing up and being a teenager in the 60's. Your group's career is well outlined in the book "THE ROCKIN' 60'S - The People Who Made the Music," by Brock Helander, 1999, a copy of which is part of my rock n' roll library. So many of the historical events you referred to last night were familiar to me. As for Jim, the S.O., B.S.T. was more his speed. He had a great time, too. Best wishes to you and the Raiders, and always best wishes to you and your family. Sincerely, Cheryl Heck James Denzler Beth Baltimore, MD

Comments: When I heard this past June that the guys were coming to the Maryland State Fair, I immediately remembered that in April 1966 they were going to appear in the area. I wanted to go so badly I could taste it (talk about being "... hungry for the sweet life, baby ..."), but my mom insisted that I go with her to a family funeral in Florida. Well, 35 years later, my mom can't tell me what to do any more, so I went to the concert last night. Wow, it was worth the wait! Thanks so much, guys -- I had a groovy time. And I look forward to seeing you closer to my home next Memorial Day weekend. P.S. My husband isn't a Raiders fan but he is a Viet Nam vet. I hugged him when I got home last night. Thank you. P.P.S. My friend at work, Tia, would gladly have joined me, but she had a previous engagement. I didn't know that she had good taste in rock 'n' roll too!

Comments: Hi Guys. Saw you at the Maryland Fairgrounds last night and just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your show. Honestly, I really went to see Blood, Sweat & Tears and figured I could sit through some of the Raiders hits. I was a Raiders fan way back when but just assumed you would do the old stuff and it would sound like the old stuff. Was I surprised!! You guys are consummate professionals and extremely talented musicians and I was sorry when your time was up. You showed such a talent for crossing all genres and there probably isn't any musical style you can't do justice to. Thanks for helping us baby boomers feel connected to our past and thanks also for all the good work you're doing for Vets.
