Comments: I was lucky enough to be able to see the shows at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas where the Raiders played their new material from the Ride To The Wall CD. Thank you for the wonderful things you're doing for the Vets--the CD, show, and ride. The new music is just great. It was so much fun to hear all the new songs LIVE. I really loved hearing the Raiders finally do some new original music in the show. Thank you so much!! Keep doing new music for us. Lana

Comments: I keep forgetting this guest book is here. :} I wanted to say how excited I am, as both a Raider fan AND a wife of a Vietnam Vet about the new "Ride To The Wall" CD and the RTTW project in general. This is such a fantastic undertaking by PRR and I am so very proud of them for it. THE NEW CD IS FABULOUS!!! All the songs are so superbly done. They sound terrific! But the gems of the CD are the 3 new ORIGINAL compositions. OUTSTANDING!! Man...what talent these guys have!! I am thrilled the Raiders have added the original material to their live performances. This is the one piece that has been missing all of these years of the current band's performances. The incredible new, original songs add the final ingredient needed to showcase the incredible talent all of the current members possess. Thanks so much Paul for allowing the new, original material to be added to the CD's and shows. I hope you keep them in the act for a long, LONG time. And thanks so much for the entire Ride To The Wall campaign. It is a great time to be a Raider fan. :)

Comments: I love listening to my "Indian Reservation" album which I got back in my preteen days. I recorded it onto a cassette quite a few years ago so I could listen to it in the car. My husband also has 2 albums "greatest hits" and " the spirit of '67. I thought it was so cool when I read the article in the Idaho Statesman yesterday. I will definently have to get the "Ride to the Wall" CD. Not only because of the great music, but also for the good cause.

Comments: I just picked up a copy of the 2 CD set "The Legend Of Paul Revere" (on Columbia Records) and what memories it brought back! But what is really COOL is that the Raiders are still ROCKING after all these years! Paul Revere & The Raiders are probably the most under-rated rock group of the 60s generation- so it's about time they got the RESPECT they deserve and work so hard for! "ROCK ON" GUYS! Thanks for so many GREAT songs!

Comments: I am glad to see PR is still doin' his wild thing. The web site is really good too because it has ALL the parts and links one needs or wants (most leave SOMETHING out if not a lot). As a griper, I could gripe about the music industry and mega-corps suppressing local talent and media so that a neat group like PR&R can't get a start now, but I won't gripe. I won't even gripe that PR&R are wearing red costumes (but I WILL ask why). Out of respect to the current Raiders, I won't gripe PR isn't back with his old Raiders (who are mostly together). And I won't gripe that I probably can't go on that Jan 2002 cruise which I'd like to do. I will note that Paul has an energy and sense of fun that seems out of place now in the corporate controlled, hungry/fragile ego world of today. I haven't seen PR&R performances in years, but looking over the entire history of PR&R you can see it was PR that was the spark and center, and pulled in great personalities and talent, and the whole show was good. It wasn't corny or contrived, wasn't fake or stupid, wasn't boring or common. Could you call it "Zany"? Leaves out too much. So is there one word that adequetly describes PR&R performances in general? Maybe it deserves more than one word. You guys tell me.

Comments: I am an original 60's fan of the Raiders! I was lucky enough to be in the audience when they taped "It's Happening." I endured a crush on every member of the band throughout this time. What a sad thing to hear of drummer Smitty's passing at a very young age of 58. He was most talented and always had a quizzical, zany look on his face. I wish to express my sympathy to his family who will miss him always, as will his fans. So long, Smitty....

Comments: Hi Guys! I was at your show at Chinook Winds Casino and I just wanted to tell you it was one hell of a show, the best show I've ever been to. Your combination of humor and kick-ass rock n roll was perfect and kept me rocking in my seat and laughing so hard sometimes that I had tears in my eyes. It's very clear that your band loves music and cares about it's fans and this shows by your tribute to Vietnam Veterans and also that you took the time after a wonderful, but I'm sure a tiring show, performing under those hot lights, for you to greet your fans and sign autographs. You guys are a band with heart and I hope that you play Chinook Winds again, because I will rush down to stand in line for tickets. Thanks again for a great show. Kathy

Comments: I attended your early show last night at the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, OR. I am 29 years old, and didn't really know the band when you were "popular." My wife and I went with my parents, who were celebrating their 30th anniversary. I had given them $300 to celebrate, and they thought it would be fun if Kristy and I joined them. I have to tell you, my expectations of the show were pretty low. I thought, "Oh, another washed up rock band trying to squeeze the last dime out of their fame." I couldn't have been more wrong. You guys are old, let there be no doubt, but you use it to your advantage. Your mix of comedy and good tunes works very well. You put a lot of newer bands and artists to shame. My wife and I, who couldn't name a single Raiders song going into the show, recognized many of the tunes you played. We may not know the name of the band, but we know your songs. And for a bunch of old guys, you still rock. I hope I have half your energy when I am your age. Hell, I wish I had half your energy now! By the way, I felt that your tribute to Vietnam vets was especially moving. It's a gutsy move on your part, especially puting it in the middle of the show like that, because it tends to take some of the momentum away from the show. It took a few songs to get back on the track, but you pulled it off. I was sitting next to a vet, and he was very grateful for the kind words you had to say. As a former military member myself, though obviously not a Vietnam vet, I thought your words were extremely well chosen, and your heart in the right place with the upcoming CD. At any rate, if you guys are ever in the area again, Kristy and I will be there. You put on a great show and it is clear you have a heart. That is something that is lacking in a lot of music these days. Keep it up, and I hope we'll see you again.

Comments: I first saw Paul Revere in about 1964 in Walla Walla, Washington. All I can say is AMAZING. It was the first time I had ever actually felt a building move. At one time I had a copy of the very first Raiders album, "Like Longhair." It long ago disappeared. If anyone knows where I can get a copy, let me know at (robert@wsu.edu)

Comments: Hello guys!! Just turning the ripe ole age of 50, I had to stop and realize that I am now a "grown-up"! But - I still love your music and always will! From the "Where the Action Is" days - until now! I always had a crush on Paul Revere and Mark Lindsay - what normal "red-blooded American Girl" didn't? I wish the best to all of you and your families! Hope you can play at another "Cool Concert" for 'Kool-105 Radio Station' here in Denver again!

Comments: This is for Paul, Doug & Omar,
I was around in the early 70's. Remember the Flamingo Hilton, Harrah's Lake Tahoe, Disneyland, Knott's (John Wayne Theatre)? I sure do! Those were the days, Lindsay in his white painted on suit, Keith in his red, white and blue and Paul at his organ. Paul, I remember showing up years later in Reno. This was with your new group and when you saw me walk in you said " Mark Lindsay is haunting me" and Omar what can I say, besides missing your smile and the times you help me when I got way to loud in the shows. I will always remember the "Good Times" that I had going to see all of you. Take care... Always, Debbie P.S. What do you think of my e-mail address? It certainly has nothing to do with route 66!

Comments:Paul Revere and The Raiders have been an image and musical influence on me as far back as I can remember. I love playing and singing a few of their classics in my current band. I did an entire Hard Rock concept CD all about pirates..(PURPLE HEART "Pirates By Night")..needless to say, I insisted we all dress like Paul Revere and The Raiders..The combination of Rock-n-Roll, showmanship, crunching guitars, and Colonial frock coats is AWESOME..Long live Paul Revere and The Raiders. Comments:Hi Guys! Lived in Vegas for awhile and had the chance to take the future wife to Vegas for superbowl weekend. Gee guess who was playing? Friday afternoon, the sound check thing was going on. We were the only two people standing ten feet away listing to the "check one two" when the lead singer started Indian Nation and looked right at us. He seemed to sing the entire song to my new wife who has a great deal of Cherokee blood running through her veins. She was so proud and we will never forget it. and yes we were there both nights. Thanks guys

Comments: I was at the EMP concert last summer, but just recently made it back up there to see the museum, and I was blown away! Especially cool to see Paul's old Vox organ and Phil "Fang"s bass guitar. The battle of the bands depicted at EMP will happen again when the Raiders and Kingsmen do the Tacoma Dome this coming May. It is a Firefighters benefit, so if you live in the area, they may be calling you any day now about tickets. If not, they will probably have some available at the box office the night of the show.
