Born in Indiana, raised in Florida, Darren has appeared with International Recording Acts, in Television Series, Films, appeared on Broadway, written two novels and is currently pursuing producing a film he's created, a 'Rock and Roll' comedy.
Recently, Dowler toured with, and was one of The Lettermen, the international recording sensation which was spawned in the sixties. He's sung with The Righteous Brothers, Fifth Dimension, The Jordanaires, The Beach Boys, and many, many others. He was inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004.
Dowler the author, wrote two novels in the last couple of years, one an epic fantasy action adventure, the other, a suspense thriller. The first will be released in 2006, the other is planned for early 2007.
